Dr Maria Arteaga
Principal Dentist
Dr Maria Arteaga graduated from Central University of Venezuela in 2005. She worked in both the public and the private sector for two years before migrating to Australia in 2007.
In 2009 she finished her degree accreditation through the Australian Dental Council.
Dr Maria has a passion for paediatric dentistry. Being a mother herself, she understands young children's needs and the challenges that parents face about how to keep their kids' teeth safe from decay.
Her soft approach and caring character have made her known at New Lambton Family Dental as the kids' favourite dentist. Kids, especially nervous ones, become very relaxed and at ease while Dr Maria performs whatever treatment they require.
Dr Maria takes this same approach for the 'bigger kids' (you know the ones) as well, making all of her patients very comfortable while they are in her chair.
She also has a passion for facial aesthetics, performing a wide range of treatments with anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers to complement your perfect smile with young, fresh facial features.
Dr Maria Arteaga believes in treating every single patient as if they were her own family. With a gentle approach and a passion for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, she feels she can change people's views on their dental experience.
