We are a preferred provider for HCF and participate in the Child Dental Benefits Scheme. We have HICAPS and accept MediPay to cover any treatment loans.

Additionally, we participate in Zip Money, Zip Pay, and we work alongside Hunter New England Health and accept their patients with vouchers.

If you have any questions about your specific health fund or coverage, feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist!

We also accept the Child Dental Benefit Scheme! This government initiative provides eligible children with access to dental services, and we are happy to assist in using this benefit to help cover the cost of essential dental treatments. If you're unsure whether your child qualifies or if you need assistance in claiming, feel free to contact us, and we can guide you through the process. Our goal is to ensure your child receives the care they need for a healthy smile!

We recommend scheduling a check-up and clean every six months. Regular visits allow us to monitor your oral health, identify any potential issues early, and provide professional cleaning to remove plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing and flossing can't fully address.

Routine check-ups help prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health issues from becoming more serious. For some individuals, such as those with specific dental concerns or conditions like gum disease, more frequent visits may be recommended. By maintaining regular appointments, you can keep your smile healthy and avoid more costly or invasive treatments down the road.

With our advanced CEREC technology, we can create and place your custom dental crown in just one visit! The entire process typically takes about 2 hours, depending on your specific needs. After preparing your tooth, we use a 3D scanner to create a digital impression, which is then used to design your crown. The CEREC system mills your crown right here in the office, allowing us to place it in your mouth on the same day, so you can leave with a restored smile without having to wait for multiple appointments.

Airflow dental cleaning uses advanced Airflow technology, which combines air, water, and a fine powder to gently remove plaque, tartar, and surface stains from your teeth. Unlike traditional dental cleaning, which often involves scraping with hand tools, Airflow provides a more comfortable, non-invasive experience, especially for patients with sensitive teeth or gums. It’s highly effective in hard-to-reach areas and leaves your teeth feeling smooth and refreshed, providing a deep clean without the discomfort.

Yes, Zoom in-chair teeth whitening is highly effective! It uses a professional-grade whitening gel activated by a special light, which can brighten your teeth by several shades in just one session. The entire procedure typically takes about 60 to 90 minutes, including preparation and post-treatment care. Many patients see noticeable results after just one treatment, and with proper care, the whitening can last for several months, depending on lifestyle factors such as diet and oral hygiene. If you're looking for a fast, dramatic improvement in your smile, Zoom is a great choice!

At New Lambton Family Dental, we specialize in the restorative phase of dental implants. While we don't perform the surgical placement of the implants, we work closely with trusted implant specialists who handle this part of the process. Once the implant surgery is complete, we take over the next step: restoring your smile with a custom-made crown that fits seamlessly with your natural teeth.

Dental implants can also be used to support dentures or dental bridges. In many cases, only a few dental implant posts are needed to provide excellent support for these restorations.

In some situations, if your jawbone is not strong enough, bone grafting may be necessary. Additionally, if the sinus cavity doesn’t allow room for an upper dental implant, a sinus lift procedure may be required.

With proper at-home care and regular dental check-ups, dental implants can last for many years or even a lifetime.
